These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Cat City Car Wash (“we,” “us,” “our”). By visiting our location, purchasing a service, or using our website or membership program, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Cat City Car Wash offers exterior and interior car wash services, detailing services, add-ons, and monthly membership programs.
Service availability may vary based on weather, staffing, operational needs, and seasonal demand.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.
2. Customer Responsibilities
When visiting our wash, customers agree to:
Follow all posted signs and safety instructions
Drive slowly and carefully through the property (maximum 3 mph)
Remove or secure all valuables before service
Inform staff of any concerns or special instructions before the wash begins
Ensure their vehicle is safe for washing (e.g., no loose trim, mirrors, bike racks, aftermarket attachments, etc.)
We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, aftermarket parts, improperly secured accessories, or any items left inside the vehicle.
3. Vehicle Condition & Safety
To protect customers and employees, we may refuse service to vehicles that are:
Unsafe to wash
Extremely dirty beyond normal service
Carrying hazardous materials
Too large or modified in ways that risk damage (e.g., lifted trucks, excessively low vehicles)
We may also require customers to remove certain items or attachments prior to service.
4. Damage Policy
We take great care with every vehicle. However:
We are not responsible for damage caused by:
Pre-existing damage
Aftermarket or dealer-installed accessories
Loose parts, antennas, emblems, or trim
Windshield chips that may crack during normal cleaning
Bug guards, running boards, roof racks, bike racks, or soft-top convertibles
Non-factory paint, wraps, vinyl, decals, or coatings
Any claim must be reported before leaving the property. Vehicles removed from the premises cannot be evaluated for damage claims.
5. Personal Items
Please remove all valuables and personal items before service.
We are not responsible for lost, misplaced, or stolen items left inside vehicles.
6. Membership Program Terms
Our monthly unlimited wash memberships (“Memberships”) operate on a recurring, automatic billing cycle.
By enrolling, you agree to:
A recurring monthly charge to your payment method
Updated billing if your card expires, declines, or fails
Using the membership only for the registered vehicle
Complying with wash usage policies (one wash per day per membership unless otherwise specified)
Cancellations
Memberships can be canceled at any time and will remain active until the end of the paid period.
Cancellations must be made before the next billing date to avoid additional charges.
No refunds are issued for partial months.
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend memberships for misuse or fraudulent activity.
7. Gift Cards & Wash Books
All gift cards and prepaid wash books:
Are non-refundable
Cannot be redeemed for cash
Never expire unless otherwise stated by California law
Lost or stolen cards may not be replaced.
8. Payments & Refunds
Payments are due at the time services are provided.
We accept cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
Refunds are issued only in the event of:
Operational errors
Service not rendered
Duplicate charges
Satisfaction concerns should be brought to management immediately for resolution.
9. Hours of Operation
Hours may change due to:
Weather
Holidays
Maintenance
Staffing needs
Special events
We may temporarily close or limit services without prior notice.
10. Website Use & Digital Services
Your use of our website signifies acceptance of these Terms.
You agree not to:
Copy or misuse website content
Attempt to interrupt or interfere with site functions
Use the site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Cat City Car Wash is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of use, income, or vehicle downtime
Personal items left inside the vehicle
Damages caused by conditions outside our control
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with services is limited to the cost of the service performed.
12. Indemnification
By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold Cat City Car Wash, its employees, and its owners harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your vehicle, your actions, or your failure to follow posted and verbal safety instructions.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website or at our location.
Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
